“Class Signing” “Brilliant Signing” – These Spurs Fans Would Love This Arrival, But Know We Have Bigger Problems To Address First

|

With ongoing poor form at Tottenham Hotspur in the campaign of 2019/20, although we are making ground in the Champions League campaign, Premier League wise we have slipped into 14th place and with the November international break now with us, plenty of fans are turning their attention to players we reportedly missed out on in the summer – and one of those is long linked Ajax midfielder Hakim Ziyech.

We were strongly liked with the 26-year-old Moroccan over the summer and there was plenty of expectation that he would secure a £25million ballpark transfer away from the club as Marc Overmars had admitted that promises had been made.

That didn’t happen and he’s enjoying another good season, with six goals and 11 assists returned already.

With reports this week again stating that Spurs would be looking to move Christian Eriksen on in January to avoid losing him for free, Ziyech is the preferred rumour mill replacement and he apparently remains on our shortlist.
